TOPIC: PERSISTENCE – A KEY TO INSIGHT
SCRIPTURE: Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. Hosea 6:3.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every time you want God to speak to you from His Word, give Him time; do not be in a hurry.
The Word of God is key to a fruitful life and destiny. Everything you need in life to be all you are meant to be is in the Word of God. Seeds of Destiny April 10, 2022
However, many people carry the Bible but do not know what the Bible carries. This is because they lack insight into the Word. Insight from God’s Word is key to accessing the treasures of the Word of God.
Now, one key to insight from the Word is persistence. Persistent, diligent study of the Word guarantees insight from the Word.
Hosea 6:3 says:
Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
It is when we wait at the door of wisdom that we encounter the person of God. We know when we follow on to know. Insight is never for the impatient. Seeds of Destiny April 10, 2022
Proverbs 8:34-35 says:
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
The truth is, if you try to study a subject and you are unable to understand it, you don’t give up. What to do is: pray in the Spirit and ask God, “What is this Scripture saying?” As you wait patiently on God, He will open the Scripture to you.
So, refuse to give up on God and His Word. Wait and persist until God opens your eyes. Every time you want God to speak to you from His Word, give Him time; do not be in a hurry. There are scriptures that I had meditated on for almost one week at certain times.
Keep waiting on God with Scriptures until He opens your eyes. Patience or persistence is key to insight.

1. Refuse to be in a hurry when you study the Scripture.
2. Wait on God persistently until He opens your eyes to see light from Scriptures.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You deliver me from hastiness and impatience in studying Your Word. I receive the grace to persist with You until Scriptures open up to me, Lord, in Jesus’ name.
