TOPIC: YOUR CONVICTION AND YOUR DESTINY
SCRIPTURE: For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11-12 (New Living Translation)
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: What you believe determines what you become.
It has been established that your conviction determines your conclusion in life.
This means, what you believe affects what you become. To believe the wrong thing is to end in a wrong place.
Please understand that people of heavy conviction are people of heavy destiny. People of little conviction are people of minimal destiny. And people of zero conviction are people of zero destiny. It takes a heavy matter to matter heavily. Heavy matters on the altar of your heart make you to matter heavily.
There are people passing through life believing nothing in particular, leaving their lives to chance. They believe that whatever will be would be. So, there is nothing positively significant happening in their lives.
God promised to give us a future we expect or hope for (Jeremiah 29:11). Therefore, if you hope for nothing, you attain nothing.
Beloved, the question is: what is your conviction? What is it that drives your actions in life? What do you sleep believing? What do you wake up in the morning believing in? What do you pass through the day striving to do? What you believe determines what you become.
Do you know what I believe? I believe that I matter to this generation. I believe that I cannot be irrelevant or insignificant. I cannot be a remotely disconnected piece of statistical material. I believe that I cannot be a spectator in life. I believe that I am in the arena of action. I believe that this generation cannot recover from the impact of my existence. I believe that I am a mobile tornado, a mobile volcano, a mobile revival. I believe that anywhere I step something must happen.
Beloved, what about you, what is your conviction in life?
Remember this: What you believe determines what you become.
