TOPIC: KILL THE NATURE OF SATAN IN YOU
SCRIPTURE: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. JOHN 8:44.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You cannot inherit the kingdom of God with the nature and character of satan in you.
A major nature of Satan is the nature of wickedness and lovelessness.
Jesus told the Pharisees in John 8:44;
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Unfortunately, the majority of people in our world today manifest the nature of satan. They do a lot of terrible and abominable things.
I heard that a man once carried a little baby belonging to his girlfriend, and smashed the head of the baby on the wall because the baby, according to him, was disturbing him and his girlfriend.
When you see some things people do, you wonder if they are human beings.
Satan has zero compassion for humanity. Satan celebrates when people are in pains and in frustration.
Sometime ago, I was counselling a couple that had marital challenges. Each of them was trying to speak against the other person.
Then I said, “Look, there is nothing I have not heard by God’s grace, in dealing with people. So, don’t try to paint the other person terrible before me.”
A man once sat in front of me and confessed to me that he killed his mother and cut off her head.
What!
The man’s eyes were pepper red. He buried his mother’s head in his living room. He used the mother, the person who gave birth to him, for ritual purposes in order to get money.
And what happened at the end? He killed his mother, yet the money didn’t come.
So, I asked him, “What are you here to do?”
“I want God to have mercy on me” he said.
Beloved, can you see the nature of satan? Satan is a killer (John 10:10), and every character of satan in your life will kill you.
The truth is, you cannot inherit the kingdom of God with the nature and character of satan in you. Please kill the nature of satan in you before it kills you.
Remember this: You cannot inherit the kingdom of God with the nature and character of satan in you.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Kill the nature and character of satan in you.
2. Embrace the love and righteous nature of Christ
PRAYER: Lord, I ask that You kill any nature of satan in me. I receive the grace to embrace love and the character of Christ, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
