TOPIC: THE GOD OF EXCESS AND ABUNDANCE
SCRIPTURE: And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:19-20.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: You need an elastic mentality about God to access the God of excess and abundance.
Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that we serve the God of excess. We serve the God who always exceeds the expectations and limitation of men. Everything about creation is in excess. For example, look at the water bodies of the earth, the great oceans like the Pacific and the Atlantic, how massive they are. The whole world is more like water that has pieces of land inside. When you fly in the air, you would see the earth like little land masses inside massive ocean bodies.
God could have just poured little water here and there; but He doesn’t know how to do ordinary things; He does things excessively.
Look at the mountains everywhere. God could have just put some little pieces of elevation here and there, but He made Mount Everest, Mount Kilimanjaro and all the other mountains on the earth.

Look at the deserts. Look at the animals. There are over Ten Thousand species of animals in our world. There are more than nine thousand groupings of birds. And each group has its own sub-types.
For example, if you look at the eagle, there are over sixty species of eagles or sixty sub-types of eagles.
If you look at the cat family, we have the domestic cat, tigers, leopards, lions, etc. and each of these has different species or subtypes. And when you add all the species of different animals together, you would have millions of different types of animals.
This is the God of abundance we serve.
Sadly, many Christians have limited God with their micro-mentality. So, you need an elastic mentality about God to access the God of excess and abundance. You need to enlarge your mind and see beyond your environment. Our God is a mega God.
And that God will do massive things in your life, family, career, business and ministry in this season, in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: You need an elastic mentality about God to access the God of excess and abundance.
