JOURNEY MERCIES AND FAVOUR DURING THE ANNUAL CONVENTION

SCRIPTURE FOUNDATIONS
Psalm 46:2-4, 9-12 – “Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea… He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear… Be still, and know that I am God.”
Psalm 121:1-8 – “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—He who watches over you will not slumber… The Lord watches over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
INTRODUCTION
As we prepare for the 74th Annual Convention, we lift our eyes to the hills—our help comes from the Lord! Today, we pray for journey mercies and divine favour for every person travelling to the Redemption Camp. We declare safety on every road, in every vehicle, and on every journey. We pray against every evil occurrence, banditry, accidents, and crisis. Let the angels of God watch over all His children participating in this year’s Convention!

PRAYER POINT 1
Father, we bless Your Holy name for the salvation of our souls. (Psalm 103:1)
Personalized Commentary:
Father, I bless Your holy name! Thank You for the greatest gift—the salvation of my soul. Before any journey, before any convention, I thank You for redeeming me. Let my salvation be my foundation and my testimony. I bless You, Lord, with all that is within me!
PRAYER POINT 2
Let us bless the name of the Lord. It has been the Lord’s mercies that we were not consumed, because His compassions have not failed us. (Lamentations 3:22; Psalm 34:1)

Lord, I bless Your name for Your mercies that have kept me alive until this moment. It is by Your mercy I am not consumed. Your compassions have never failed me—they are new every morning. I thank You for bringing me to this convention season. Your mercy has carried me!
PRAYER POINT 3
Father, we thank You for the successes granted us in the past Holy Ghost Convention.

Father, I thank You for every past Convention—the testimonies, the breakthroughs, the salvations, and the victories. Every success was Your doing. Thank You for what You have done before. It gives me confidence that You will do even greater things this year!

Father, we thank You for journey mercies in the past Holy Ghost Convention.

Lord, I thank You for bringing me and my loved ones safely to past conventions. Not one casualty, not one accident, not one tragedy. Your angels watched over our going and coming. Thank You for the testimony of safe journeys. I carry that same confidence into this Convention!

Father, we thank You for another Annual Convention that is here again.

Father, I thank You for the 74th Annual Convention August 3 -9th 2026 It is not by my power or might that I have seen this day. Another opportunity to gather at the Redemption Camp, to seek Your face, to receive Your word, and to experience Your power. Thank You for this divine appointment!
PRAYER POINT 6
Let us pray for forgiveness of all our sins that may hinder the move of God in this year’s Annual Convention Fast. (Psalm 79:9)

Lord, I come before You with a humble heart. Forgive every sin—known and unknown—that could hinder Your move in my life during this Convention. Cleanse me from every iniquity. Let nothing stand between me and Your presence. For the glory of Your name, forgive me and purify me!

Father, before, during, and after this year’s Annual Convention, please grant us journey mercies. (Psalm 121:1-8)

Lord, I lift my eyes to the hills—my help comes from You! I pray for journey mercies: going to the Convention, during the Convention, and returning home. Let no evil befall me. Let my foot not slip. Let the Lord watch over my coming and going, now and forevermore!

Father, we pray against accidents and every evil occurrence on the road during the Annual Convention, in Jesus’ name.

Father, I decree that no accident will happen on any road leading to or from the Redemption Camp. I pray against every evil occurrence—collisions, breakdowns, and mechanical failures. Let the roads be clear, the vehicles be safe, and every traveller arrive safely. I command accidents to be far from Your people!
PRAYER POINT 9
Father, we come against activities of bandits, kidnappers, rituals, and demand for ransom on the roads, in Jesus’ mighty name.
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, I rise against every evil plan of bandits, kidnappers, and ritualists on the roads. I command their activities to be scattered. Let every ambush be exposed and every evil plan fail. No child of God travelling to the Convention will fall into their hands. The angels of the Lord are encamped around us!
PRAYER POINT 10
Father, let there be no air crashes, no ship sinking, in Jesus’ name.
Personalized Commentary:
Lord, I pray for safety in every mode of transportation. Let the skies be safe—no air crashes. Let the waters be safe—no ship sinkings. Let every vehicle, plane, and boat carrying Your people to the Convention arrive safely at its destination. I declare safety in the heavens, on the earth, and on the seas!

Father, let there be no fuel crisis all over the country during this year’s Annual Convention, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, I pray against any fuel crisis that could hinder travel to the Convention. Let there be abundant fuel supply across the nation. Let there be no queues, no shortages, and no price hikes that would prevent people from coming. Make every journey smooth and uninterrupted!
PRAYER POINT 12
Father, we decree in Your name that there shall be no bandit attack against the Redemption Camp before, during, and after the Annual Convention this year, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, I decree total protection over the Redemption Camp. Let no bandit, no evil intruder, no enemy come near its gates. I declare the Camp to be a sanctuary of peace, safety, and divine protection. Let every plan of the enemy against the Camp be destroyed. No attack—before, during, or after the Convention!

Father, let there be angelic surveillance watching over all Your children participating in this year’s Congress.

Father, I pray for angelic surveillance over every single participant of the Convention. Let angels be assigned to watch over them—on the road, at the Camp, and on their return journey. Let no child of Yours be unprotected. Your angels have charge over us, to keep us in all our ways!

Father, provide for the needs of all who intend to be part of this year’s Congress, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, I pray for every person who desires to be at the Convention. Supply their needs—finances for transportation, accommodation, and provisions. Let no one be left behind because of lack. Open doors of provision and make a way for every willing heart. Let Your people not lack any good thing!

Father, by Your mercies, let the siege be over after this year’s Annual Convention, in Jesus’ name.

Lord, I pray that after this Convention, every siege will be broken—every battle will be won, every stronghold will be destroyed, and every yoke will be shattered. Let the Convention mark the end of struggles and the beginning of testimonies. By Your mercy, let the siege be over!

Heavenly Father, I thank You for journey mercies. My help comes from You—the Maker of heaven and earth. I trust You to watch over me and my loved ones as we travel to the 74th Annual Convention.
I pray against every evil—accidents, banditry, kidnapping, rituals, and all attacks of the enemy. Let Your angels encamp around us. Let Your protection be our shield. Let no harm come near us.
Provide for every need, remove every obstacle, and make every journey smooth. Bring us to the Redemption Camp safely, keep us there securely, and return us home in peace.
After this Convention, let every siege in my life be over. Let every battle be won. Let every testimony begin!
