TOPIC: DIVINE DIRECTION – A PRODUCT OF THE BLESSING
SCRIPTURE: And the Lord appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of: Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; Genesis 26:2-3
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every blessed man is a candidate for Divine guidance.
It has been established that the best thing God gave to Adam was not money but the Blessing (Genesis 1:28).
In the Garden of Eden, when man fell, the Blessing was lost. But when Jesus Christ came to the earth, the major assignment that brought Him was the recovery and restoration of the Blessing that satan took from man (Galatians 3:13-14).
So, Jesus did not only come to give us salvation and make us escape hell; He also came to establish the Blessing of God on our lives (Revelation 5:12). Beloved, Calvary also brought us the Blessing of God. Jesus died so that we might be blessed.
Now, what is the power of the Blessing? What does the Blessing offer a person?

The Blessing of God is a guarantee of Divine Direction. God guides whom He has blessed. Every blessed man is a candidate for Divine guidance. A blessed man or woman is not permitted to miss road in life (Genesis 26:1-3). The Lord told Isaac not to go down to Egypt and He would bless him. A blessed man or woman is not permitted to move or miss road like others. He moves on Divine orders.
A blessed person is guided by Divine orders and directions. A blessed person is not permitted to end as a destitute, deprived of guidance. The Blessing of God forbids existence in confusion. A blessed person is not permitted to continuously make regrettable moves or take steps that will end in shame.
Remember this: Every blessed man is a candidate for Divine guidance.

1. Refuse to live in confusion.
2. Connect the Blessing for Divine direction.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the pathway of Divine direction through the Blessing. I ask that You release Your Blessing upon my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
