MESSAGE TOPIC: THE PRAISE WORSHIP DIMENSION OF DEDICATION

SERVICE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding the praise worship dimension of dedication
It is important to note that praise-worship is a dimension/department of dedication to God
Dedicated people in Scripture were confirmed praise worshippers (Gen. 12:1-5; 22:5)
SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF DEDICATED PEOPLE THAT WERE WORSHIPPERS:
1. Abraham (Gen. 12:1-5; 22:5)
2. Moses (Ex. 32:32; 15:1; Deut. 31:22, 30; 32:44; Rev. 15:3)
3. David (Ps. 42:1-2; 63:1-2; 34:1)
4. Paul the apostle (Phil. 1:21; Gal. 2:20; Phil. 4:4, 6-7; Eph. 5:18-20)
It is not possible to be dedicated and not be a worshipper
HOW PRAISE AND WORSHIP CONFIRM DEDICATION TO GOD:
1. Confirmation of submission (Ps. 63:1-2)
2. Confirmation of adoration (Ps. 89:5-7)
3. Confirmation of affection (Ps. 18:1-3; 5:11-12)
4. Confirmation of attention (Ps. 63:8; 16:8-11)
5. Confirmation of consecration (Ps. 29:2)
6. Confirmation of donation (Ps. 132:1-5)
7. Confirmation of appreciation (Ps. 100:1-4)
CONCLUSION:
1. Whatever happens, never let the devil take your praise and your worship from you (Job 30:31; Acts 16:16-26).
To release your praise is to terminate captivity, and to withhold your praise is to perpetuate captivity; it is a matter of choice.
2. Never give superficial praise; always release deep, substantial praise (John 4:22-24)
