MESSAGE TOPIC: YOU HAVE OVERCOME THEM

SERVICE OBJECTIVE: Understanding our victory in God

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. God has a solid welfare and defense package for His people
   God has a solid welfare and defence package for your life
2. You were not designed by God to be pitiable or vulnerable
3. You were not designed by God to be at the mercy of the forces of the world (1 John 4:4)
4. You were not designed by God to exist as an undergoer, but to exist as an overcomer (1 John 4:4; 5:4)

TRUTHS FROM 1 JOHN 4:4:

1. Your Source is God
   To be born again means your Source is God
   1a. Your Source determines your strength.
   Where you are coming from determines your durability, indestructibility, perishability, and lastability.
   God is your Source, so your future is guaranteed.
   ‘You are of God’ means whatever cannot torment God cannot torment you!
   Whatever cannot destroy God cannot destroy you because you are of God.
   You have been wired to last.
   1b. Your Source determines your safety/sustenance
   Where you are coming from determines what is following you
   1c. Your Source determines your supply.
2. Your Owner is God.
   As a child of God, your Owner is God.
   If you don’t belong to yourself, you don’t defend yourself.
   Anyone looking for you is looking for God.
   Your Owner is your Keeper; anyone who owns you keeps you.
   If you belong to God, no power on earth is licensed to function in your life without the permission of God.
3. You have overcome them
   3a. The battles of your life came too late
   THEY CAME TOO LATE!
   3b. You are stronger than what is confronting you
   You are more than equal to the task
   What will collapse you will never confront you (1Cor. 10:13)
   YOU ARE STRONGER THAN THAT! WAKE UP!!!!
   3c. Your victory existed before the battle
   The soap was on ground before the cloth became dirty
4. The Greater One lives in you
   ‘Goodness and Mercy shall follow you’; goodness attracts good things into your life and Mercy repels bad things from your life! (Ps. 23:6)
   Realise that you are not alone! The Greater One lives in you!
   Who is inside you is greater than anybody that can confront you
   What is working for you is heavier than what is working against you
   The forces gathered to help you are more than the forces gathered to hurt you

SECRETS OF OUR VICTORY IN GOD:

1. Belong to God in reality (Phil. 1:21; Gal. 2:20)
   a. Do not belong to yourself
   b. Do not belong to society (1 John 2:15-17)
   c. Do not belong to money
   d. Live for the One Who died for you (2Cor. 5:15)
2. Remain a little child in His Hands (1 John 4:4)
   THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A LITTLE CHILD:
   a. Simplicity
   b. Sincerity
   c. Humility
   d. Spirituality
3. Maintain a victory mindset (1 John 4:4; Prov. 23:7)
   Refuse to exist like a victim
4. Be God-inside minded (1 John 4:4)
   Refuse to exist like a victim

PRAYERS

Father, thank You for Your Word. Thank You because You are my Source, my Owner and You live in me. Father, take Your place and do Your Work in my life, in my family, in the Church and in Nigeria, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, I have overcome them; all the forces of hell, of distraction, of limitation, of resistance, of opposition and confrontation arrayed against my life, my family, the Church and our Nation Nigeria, by the authority of Jesus, we establish our victory over you, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, we receive the grace to shift the level of the Kingdom in rugged evangelism, the grace to win the lost this week; we receive a baptism of evangelism. All the souls meant to be won this week, we receive them, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, as we carry out Your assignment, change our levels all round, in Jesus’ Name.

COMMUNION FOCUS:

• Communion of established victory;
• Communion of the reality of Presence of the Master in your life
• Communion of escape over immediate instant accident/killing

ANOINTING FOCUS:

• This is a seal of your Victory and preservation. It is your ‘TOUCH NOT’ seal. Disaster will pass you over and your freedom is confirmed

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

• Every battle you were involved in before you came here this evening is terminated
• Today is the end of your undergoings; from today, you step into the realm of an overcomer!
• Every trespasser, be it a disease or an affliction, that is functioning in your body contrary to the dictates of the Owner, today, their trespass is over!
• Hypertension, ancestral demons, nightmares, spirit spouses cannot share you with God! In the Name above every other name, every devil trying to share you with God, their expiry date has come!
• Anything toying with your life is challenging God and tonight they shall experience the power of God
• Something that has been looking for you is about to disappear!
• Before the week is over, you will notice that the forces of God fighting for you will beat hands down the forces fighting against you
• Your glory is restored and every weight the enemy put on you is taken away by the power of the Blood of Jesus
