Introduction: The Midnight Dimension

Tonight’s focus is profound: POWER TO BECOME. This is not about doing; it is about becoming. It is not about external achievements but internal transformation. It is about moving from potential to actualization, from promise to possession, from seed to fruit.
The Foundation: John 1:12
The scripture for this prayer session is one of the most powerful verses in all of Scripture:
“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.”
This verse reveals a crucial sequence:
Receiving – It begins with reception. You must receive Jesus Christ. Not just know about Him, not just admire Him, not just respect Him—but receive Him. Reception implies welcoming, embracing, taking in. It is a personal, intentional act.
Power – To those who receive, He gives POWER. The Greek word is exousia—authority, right, delegated power. This is not just ability; it is legal authority. It is the right to become something you could not become on your own.
To Become – The goal is not just power for its own sake, but power to BECOME. Power to transform. Power to transition. Power to transcend your natural limitations.
Sons of God – This is the destination. Not just servants, but sons. Not just followers, but family members. Not just believers, but heirs. Sonship carries with it inheritance, authority, and intimacy.
The Nature of the Power
The power that God gives is not merely natural ability enhanced; it is supernatural authority released. This power:
Breaks Limitations – Every ceiling that has held you down is shattered. Every boundary that has confined you is removed. Every wall that has blocked you is demolished.
Awakens Dormant Capacities – Inside every person are gifts, talents, and abilities that have not yet been activated. This power stirs them up. It calls forth what has been sleeping.
Propels You Into Destiny – You are not aimless. You have an ordained destination. This power propels you toward that destination, accelerating your journey and aligning your steps.
The Conditions for Encounter
Dr. Enenche gives clear instructions for those who would participate:
“Come with hunger.” – Hunger is desire. It is the intensity of longing. God responds to hunger. The hungry are filled. The satisfied are sent away empty. Come wanting more than you have.
“Pray with faith.” – Faith is confidence. It is the assurance that God is who He says and will do what He has promised. Pray believing that something will happen. Pray expecting that change will come.

Becoming Is a Process
In a culture obsessed with instant results, the concept of “becoming” is counter-cultural. Becoming implies process. It implies time. It implies growth. You do not become a son or daughter instantly; you are born into the family, but you grow into the fullness of sonship.
Becoming Requires Power
You cannot become what God has ordained on your own. You need power. The same power that raised Christ from the dead is available to enable your transformation. Without this power, you remain stuck in potential. With this power, potential becomes actual.
Becoming Leads to Sonship
The ultimate destination is sonship. Not just being a child, but walking in the fullness of sonship—with all the rights, privileges, and responsibilities that come with being an heir. Sons don’t beg; sons receive. Sons don’t cower; sons stand. Sons don’t wander; sons are led.
