SEEDS OF DESTINY – MONDAY 10 APRIL 2023 TOPIC: THE PROFIT OF PROPHETIC COVERING

SCRIPTURE: And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was [Israel] preserved. Hosea 12:13 (AMP).

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The prophet exists for the preservation of lives and destinies.

In life, the place of prophetic covering is key to destiny fulfilment. It took Moses, a prophet, leader, and shepherd to lead the children of Israel from Egypt, the land of captivity and bondage to Canaan, the land of promise and liberty.

By a prophet, a destiny is brought out of the Egypt of sin, bondage and worldliness, and by a prophet, a life is preserved. So, the prophet exists for the preservation of lives and destinies.

Your prophet exists for your profit; your father is your ladder for your future. You father gives you the feathers to fly.

In my own life, by the grace of God, I have enjoyed uncountable benefits of prophetic covering.

Many years ago, we wanted to build the Dunamis Church at Area 1, Garki Abuja. I told my spiritual father and prophet, God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo about it. And he told me, “Don’t touch the ground until you bring the design to me, so I can see it.” You know he is an architect.

Then, I took the design to him. When he looked at the design of the auditorium, he asked me, “How many seater-auditorium do you want to build?”

When I told him, he said, “If you want to sit that number of people, knock off this one, knock off the centre and then make it whole”. Then I said, “Yes sir”

And he told me, “Now go and start the building, it is done in Jesus’ Name” and truly, it was done.

I also remember when we wanted to make a certain purchase for church some time ago. We tried it but it was a challenge. When I told him, he advised me against it. He said, “Don’t do that” and we did not do it again.

Beloved, the fact is, people cannot reach their future when there is no guide post. So, refuse to live without a prophetic covering.

Remember this: The prophet exists for the preservation of lives and destinies.

2. Locate the prophet over your life and follow their steps and instructions.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to submit to the prophet You have placed over my life for the fulfilment of my destiny, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
