TOPIC: DISCOVERY, A KEY TO DESTINY FULFILMENT
SCRIPTURE: In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Daniel 9:2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: A destiny that is not discovered cannot be fulfilled.

In our day-to-day living, keys are needed to open doors. To open any door in life, a key must be used.
Now, it is very important to know that it is not just enough to have keys; it is very important to have the right keys. It is also very important that you use the right keys in the right ways to have open door. This is because if you don’t use the right keys, you will not be able to open doors.
So, having keys are not enough, it is using the right keys that gives access to or exit from places.
In our study today, we shall look at one key to destiny fulfilment; and it is called Discovery.
In 2 Kings 22:10-13, we see that King Josiah discovered from the Word that he was meant to deliver the children of Israel. As soon as he made the discovery, he ceased all forms of frivolous living and began to live a meaningful life.
Daniel also discovered from Scriptures the number of years that the Israelites were meant to be in captivity (Daniel 9:2 -3). When he discovered that Israel would accomplish seventy years in the desolation, he set his face unto the Lord in prayer and supplication. And God answered his prayers and the captivity was arrested.
You see, when the children of Israel found themselves in the state of captivity, it took the key of the revelation of the Word of God for them to be liberated from that captivity.
So, discovery is a key to destiny fulfilment. The destiny that is not discovered cannot be fulfilled. To maximally fulfil destiny, the key of discovery must be rightly applied.
Beloved, my counsel for you is: pray and discover from Scriptures what you were created by God to do on earth.
Remember this: The destiny that is not discovered cannot be fulfilled.

1. Go through today’s study again prayerfully.
2. Make up your mind to discover what you are living for and fulfil it.
PRAYER: Thank You Lord for Your Word to me today. I ask that You open my eyes to discover what I am living for and fulfil it, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
