TOPIC: OBEDIENCE – A SECRET OF MIRACLES IN THE GLORY
SCRIPTURE: This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him. John 2:11
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Obedience to Divine Instruction is a key to experiencing miracles in the glory.
The Book of John Chapter Two gives us an account of Jesus turning water to wine. And that beginning of miracles Jesus did in Cana of Galilee and manifested forth His Glory.
Now, from this story, I would like us to look at one secret of experiencing miracles in the Glory of God.
Obedience to Divine Instruction (John 2:5).
Obedience to Divine Instruction is a key to experiencing miracles in the glory.
For example, if God says, “Go this way” and you obey Him, you would see His miracles. You can avoid calamities in life by obeying Divine instructions. But if you follow what and where your mind tells you to go, especially when it is contrary to God’s way, disasters are inevitable. That will not be your portion in Jesus Name.
So, in order to live in obedience, be on the lookout for Divine instructions to obey. Be on the lookout for what God is saying, because revelation brings elevation. It is what God said that you have not yet done that is stopping you from seeing what you have not yet seen.
Peter said to Jesus, “Master I have toiled all night but I caught nothing. I have done everything, but let me do what you said I should do. I have done other things and I have seen no result, but I will obey You” (Luke 5:5, paraphrased).
And when Peter obeyed, he enclosed a great multitude of fishes and the net brake (Luke 5:5-6).
You see, obedience to God is a secret of experiencing His miracles. Obeying God is key to seeing God’s Glory and miracles in your life.
Remember this: Obedience to Divine Instruction is a key to experiencing miracles in the glory.
