TOPIC: THE TREATING OF SPIRITUAL LETHARGY
HOLY SCRIPTURES: Likewise, the Spirit helps our infirmities: for we do not know what we ought to ask in our prayers. But the Spirit itself intercedes through inexpressible prayers and sighs. Romans 8:26
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your life becomes a center of fire when you engage (or pray into) the Holy Spirit.
Some time ago, a pastor came to me and said, “Sir, please it seems my (spiritual) fire has diminished” I told him I was gonna prescribe him a treat
So I asked her to take a three-day prayer and fasting program (without food), and pray an average of five to seven hours a day.
I also told him to read the entire Book of Acts during the three days of prayer and fasting. At the end of the three days, he had to come back to tell me if he was still not on fire (or on fire for God). This is the kind of exercise to do when your spiritual temperature drops.
Beloved, the Holy Spirit helps us to operate and pray with fire; Your life becomes a center of fire when you engage (or pray into) the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:26 says, “In the same way the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we do not know what we ought to ask in our prayers.” But the Spirit itself intercedes through unspeakable prayers and sighs.”
Beloved, have you noticed that your spiritual fire has diminished? Do you have trouble praying? Do you find it difficult to read or study God’s Word? Are you spiritually weak or lethargic? You need fervor in the Spirit to not become vulnerable to the enemy.
I advise you to adhere to the advice I gave to the pastor above and your spiritual fire will be rekindled.
Remember this: Your life becomes a center of fire when you engage (or pray into) the Holy Spirit

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your life becomes a center of spiritual fire when you engage yourself in prayer or pray in the Holy Spirit.
Some time ago, a pastor came to me and said, “Lord, it seems my fire has reduced.” I told him I would prescribe him a treatment.
I told him to embark on three days of prayer and fasting without food, and to pray an average of five to seven hours daily.
I also told him to read the entire Book of Acts within the three days of prayer and fasting. At the end of the three days, I should go back and tell me if I wouldn’t be on fire for God. That’s the kind of exercise to embark on when your spiritual temperature drops.
Beloved, the Holy Spirit helps us to operate and pray with fire; your life becomes a center of spiritual fire when you engage or pray in the Holy Spirit.

Beloved, do you notice a reduction in your spiritual fire?. Is it pass work to pray? Do you find it difficult to read or study God’s Word?. Are you spiritually weak or lethargic? You need fervor in the Spirit to not become vulnerable to the enemy.
I advise you to stick to the advice I gave to the pastor above and your spiritual fire will be rekindled.
Remember this: Your life becomes a center of spiritual fire when you surrender or pray to the Holy Spirit.
