Whether you are a doctor, lawyer, business man or preacher, the primary reason you are alive is to worship God.
SCRIPTURE: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The primary reason you are alive is to worship God.
Our anchor Scripture reveals the need to prioritize our spiritual life with God. This is because our spirituality is a crucial necessity for our survival in time and in eternity. Seeds Of Destiny DIGC 12 February 2021
It is advisable not to leave your destiny to chance because whatever is left to chance has no chance. Don’t live like people who think that whatever would be would be. That is not true. Don’t leave your life to chance.
Make spirituality and Kingdom matters your priority in life and destiny. Put the Kingdom first. The primary reason you are alive is to worship God (Isaiah 43:21). Whether you are a doctor, lawyer, business man or preacher, the primary reason you are alive is to worship God.
This is why Isaiah 43:21 says, “This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.”
Your secondary purpose in life may be to glorify God in whatever you choose to be your career in life, but your primary purpose and priority in life must be to worship God. And when your primary purpose is achieved, your secondary purpose will be realised.
For example, someone who wants to become a senior advocate of Nigeria (SAN) must first study law and be called to bar. He must first become a lawyer, which is his primary purpose, before he can become a senior advocate of Nigeria. If he decides to become an accountant, he cannot be a senior advocate of Nigeria. So, it is when we fulfil our primary purpose of worshipping God that our secondary purposes in life can be realized. When we do things well with God, other things in life become meaningful.
Beloved, if you value your life and destiny, you must mind your spirituality. Prioritize your spiritual life.
Remember this: The primary reason you are alive is to worship God.
