ACTIVATING VISION BY WALKING WITH GOD.
SCRIPTURE:
I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower and will watch to see what he will say unto me and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the Lord answered me and said write the vision and make it plain upon tables that he may run that readeth it.
Habakkuk 2:1-2
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
It is not possible to walk with God and miss out in life.
In life, direction determines destination. The road you follow determines the place you end. You can never follow the wrong way and end up in the right destination. No matter how far a person runs in the wrong direction, he can never arrive at the right destination.
That is why the most important thing for anyone to do on earth is to find out what God wants them to do with their lives. God told the prophet Jeremiah
in Jeremiah 1:5:
Before I formed thee I knew thee and before thou camest forth I ordained thee a prophet to the nations. This shows that God, our Creator is the only One that has the blueprint for our lives. He knows the purpose of our creation. And life is only fulfilled if it is lived within the confines of purpose.
The realization of God’s purpose for a person’s life is called vision.
Now, it is important for us to know how to arrive at vision. Some people are running with ambition thinking it is vision. There are those who mistake imitation for vision. There are those who are into competition, thinking they are running a vision. There are those who claim they are running a vision, not knowing they are merely reacting to something. And finally, there are those who embark on a particular task under persuasion or coercion. That is, where someone was literally pushed into doing what they never wanted to do. Whereas vision is what God wants you to pursue, become or achieve.
The question is, how is real vision activated? What are the things that assist the fulfilment of vision.
In our study today, we shall be looking at one of the ways to activate vision unto fulfilment, and that is Walking with God.
Walking with God is an activator of vision. God who created us knows our future more than we know our past. Before you became His creature, you were His picture. In Jeremiah 1:5, He said, before I formed thee I knew thee. So, God pictured you before He created you. He is not wondering what to do with your life. He determined what to do with you before He commenced your creation. He declares the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:9-10).
Beloved, it is not possible to walk with God and miss out in life. If God knows my future more than I know my past, if He is not wondering what to do with me, it is not possible to walk with Him and miss out in life.
Now, what is the impact of walking with God? Walking with God makes you to see things from God’s perspective. Big things in human eyes become small when we see them from the perspective of God. That is why men who walk with God don’t see impossibility in fulfilling vision.
Beloved, it is crucial to walk with God to guarantee a safe landing at your place of destiny.
REMEMBER THIS:
It is not possible to walk with God and miss out in life.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Take a stand with God even if it means to stand alone.
- Ask God to reveal His vision and purpose for your life to you.

Trust God for His continuous help to walk with Him.
PRAYER:
Lord, I receive grace to access and pursue Your vision for my life. My future is Your past, Lord; take the lead, and I will follow, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
