TOPIC: YOUR MENTALITY AND YOUR PROSPERITY.
SCRIPTURE: Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they know not the way of the Lord, nor the judgment of their God. JEREMIAH 5:4.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Hardship can be terminated by knowledge.
It has been confirmed that mentality is upgraded by information. Nothing upgrades mentality like information.
Romans 12:2 confirms it when it says, and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind….
When the mind is renewed, life is transformed. When the mind is renewed, the hand is empowered.
And in our journey through life as Christians, we cannot shy away from teachings that empower us financially and place us on enviable heights in life. It takes financial dominion to advance the kingdom of God on earth. And when you are financially stable, needs cannot distract you from serving God.
So, today, we shall be looking at the connection between knowledge (information) and prosperity.
Now, our anchor scripture says, “These people are poor. They are foolish.” Why? Because “they know not the way of the Lord, nor the judgment of their God.”
A major difference between the rich and the poor is information possession and utilization. There is something you will know now that will change the quality of your life. In the world today, those who have secular or financial information have a greater chance of prosperity than those who have no information at all.
Those with no information must sweat physically to arrive at money. For instance, a wheelbarrow pusher, a truck pusher is sentenced to that kind of strenuous effort because of lack of vital information – academic information, financial information, revelational information. The more informed a person is, the more his or her chances of experiencing prosperity financially.
It is confirmed that the most poverty-stricken nations, what we call the third world countries, are also the most backward mentally. The truth is that ignorance is a major sponsor of poverty. Every breakthrough, whether in the world of science or in any aspect of life, is sponsored by knowledge.
Hardship can be terminated by knowledge (Proverbs 3:20). Frustration can be terminated by revelation. Before you can break through to your next level of manifestation, you need a new level of revelation.
What was the secret of King Solomon, the richest man in his days? 1Kings 10:23-24 says, So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom. And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart. The secret of
King Solomon’s wealth was wisdom. So, your wisdom is the secret of your wealth. People will pay you for what you know that they don’t know.
Every time you go to a doctor for treatment, after the treatment, he gives you the bill. When you pay the bill, you have paid for your medical ignorance. So, if you want money to exchange into your hands, know something that others don’t know. When you become powerful mentally, you will become powerful financially.
Remember this: Hardship can be terminated by knowledge.
ASSIGNMENT (S):
1. Refuse to stop learning. Keep yourself updated in your field and learn new things daily.
2. Put your knowledge into work by impacting the lives of others, and income will follow you.
3. Ask God to bless the works of your hands so you can advance His kingdom with your resources.
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for Your Word to me today. Baptize me with passion for knowledge and empower me financially so I can impact lives and advance Your kingdom on earth, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
