TOPIC: THE NECESSITY OF GOD’S POWER.
SCRIPTURE: How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. Acts 10:38.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Anyone who carries the Presence of God is also a carrier of the Power of God.
We live in a terrible world with the abundance of wickedness. To live without the power of God in this world is to end as a victim in the hands of the wicked.
Today, we shall be looking at six necessities of God’s Power.
- The defeat of enemy resistance. The Ministry of our Master, Jesus Christ had a drastic shift when the power of God came upon Him; enemy resistance was defeated and motion released. (Acts 10:38).

The release of motion. Our anchor scripture says, He went about…; that was motion (Acts 10:38). The power of God is the cure for stagnation.
Beloved, if you are not making progress in life, if your motion is slow and insignificant, the power of God is what you need. -
The initiation of action. Where something was not working, it is made to work with the power of God.

The enforcement of the goodness of God. Acts 10:38 said that Jesus went about doing good. When the power of God is in manifestation, the goodness of God is enforced.

The assignment of the power of God is the activation of potential. Jesus carried the healing power that was not made manifest until the Power was released (Acts 10:38). Many potentials are not finding expression because of the bankruptcy of the Power of God. Where the Power of God is available the discovery and deployment of potential is effortless.

The arrest of enemy wickedness. Jesus was healing all that were oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). The power of God is what mesmerizes satanic agenda. Where power is absent oppression continues.
Now, what is the major secret of the Power of God?
a. The Presence of God. Anyone who carries the Presence of God is also a carrier of the Power of God. Jesus did all He did because God was with Him (Acts 10:38).
b. The passion to do the Will of God.
Beloved, if you carry His Presence and you are passionate about His Will, then you are set to see His Power.
Beloved, if you desire victory in every aspect of your life, refuse to exist without the Power of God.
Remember this: Anyone who carries the Presence of God is also a carrier of the Power of God.

1. Maintain an unbroken fellowship with God.
- Avoid the lifestyle of sin.

Make demands on God’s Power today for a daily victorious living.
PRAYER: Lord, I receive more of Your Power in my life. Let your power break every enemy resistance, activate my motion in life, unleash the potentials in me, and arrest every trace of wickedness of hell around my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

AMAZING FACT: Israel is the only country in the world that has the same name, is located in the same land and speaks the same language as it did 3,000 years ago. Most of the Jews were forced by the Romans into the Diaspora (exile) after the destruction of King Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem in 70 C.E. But the Jewish people did not all leave.
