ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): JOB 1:9-10
MESSAGE TOPIC: THE PRESERVATION POWER OF THE BLESSING OF GOD By: Dr Paul Enenche
SERVICE OBJECTIVES:
1. Understanding how the Blessing preserves
2. Understanding our access to the Blessing
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. The Blessing of God is an asset of unquantifiable value for life and destiny.
2. The Blessing of God carries the power of preservation
3. The Blessing of God does not endanger the life of the carrier, rather it preserves the life of the carrier (Isa. 33:15-16)
When God makes you successful, you don’t run the risk of being destroyed.
The Blessing positions the blessed in the realm that is beyond the reach of wickedness
HOW DOES THE BLESSING PRESERVE THE BLESSED?
1. The Blessing establishes the Presence of God around the life of the Blessed and that Presence
brings preservation (Ps. 91:1; Gen. 17:1; 26:24-25; Ps. 23:4; Gen. 28:15; 39:2, 21; Ps. 23:1-6; Isa. 45:1-3)
Who is standing by our side is greater than who is standing on the other side
The Presence of The Blesser is feelable around the blessed
2. The Blessing establishes the backing and the defence of the Lord around the life of the Blessed (Gen. 20:3; 31:24; 1 Chron. 4:9-10)
3. The Blessing establishes the terror of the Lord around the life of the blessed (Gen. 9:1-2; Isa. 8:12-14; Gen. 35:5; Deut. 11:25)
Don’t fear what they fear, it is a waste of fear; redirect your fear – fear God and He shall be a shelter to you (Isa. 8:12-14)
Not everybody is pursuable by the devil
4. The Blessing imparts the strength and might of the Lord for consistent victory (Gen. 26:16; 14:14; 32:28)
A Blessed man is a strong man; A Blessed woman is a strong woman
5. The Blessing establishes the Blessing hedge of protection around the life of the blessed (Job 1:10; Zech. 2:5)
You are not a wastable material!
6. The Blessing establishes a perpetual injunction on the life of the blessed against destruction (Isa. 65:8; Ps. 105:12-15)
HOW TO ACCESS THE BLESSING:
1. Give God the first place in your life (Matt. 6:33)
1a. Make God the most important Person in your life, genuinely
1b. Make God the most critical factor of your existence on the earth
If you are a Christian, be a real one – don’t be fake or plastic. Be real!
2. Be trustable, trustworthy and reliable before God (Prov. 28:20; Gen. 18:
17-18; Job 1:8)
You won’t beg for things if you come to the point where God can trust you
It is one thing for man to trust God but it is another thing entirely for God to trust man (Gen. 18:17-18; Job 1:8)
If God can trust you, He will bless you.
3. Walk uprightly, not crookedly (Ps. 1:1-3; 5:12).
Don’t be that kind of person that will do practically anything to get money, or the kind that places more value on money than on God
4. Honour God with your substance and resources (Prov. 3:9-10; Mal. 1:6-8) Using prayer as a tool for decision-making and finding purpose

Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. Be glorified, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
