MESSAGE TOPIC: THE PRESERVATION POWER OF PRAISE

SERVICE OBJECTIVES: Understanding how praise brings about the preservation of life
Praise carries preservation power
SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF PRESERVATION BY PRAISE:
1. The battle of Jehoshaphat (2 Chron. 20:22-23)
2. The battle of Jericho (Josh. 6:20)
3. Paul and Silas in the prison (Acts 16:25-26)
HOW PRAISE BRINGS PRESERVATION:
1. Praise keeps the saint in the Presence of God and the Presence of God brings preservation (Ps. 100:4; 22:3; 89:15; 2 Chron. 5:13-14; Ps. 91:1-2; 23:4)
2. Praise brings direction and direction prevents destruction (2 Kings 3:15-18; 1 Sam. 21:1-2)
The climate of praise is the climate of direction and revelation and that climate prevents destruction
3. Praise causes the enemies to turn their weapons against each other in order to bring deliverance from destruction (2 Chron. 20:22-23)
4. Praise is proof of faith and faith is a shield against destruction (Ps. 106:12; Rom. 4:20; Eph. 6:16; Hab. 2:4)
5. Praise is a direct channel of life (Ps. 150:6; Isa. 38:19-20; Ps. 119:175)
Give God praise and He will give you life

3. With your testimony (Ps. 105:1-2)
4. With your lifestyle/character (Matt. 5:16)
5. With your excellence (Matt. 5:16)
