MESSAGE TOPIC: MAKING THE MOST OF THE YEAR

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE(S): Understanding what to do to avoid the tragedy of a wasted year
WHAT TO DO TO AVOID THE TRAGEDY OF A WASTED YEAR:
1. Start the day right – start the day with God (Mark 1:35)
When the day is not started correctly you cannot end it correctly
To travail in the morning is to prevail in the day
2. Live beyond yourself – live for Christ (Phil. 1:21)
A life not lived for Christ is a life lived for loss
3. Give the best to all you do (Eccl. 9:10)
Life is wasted when the best is not released
4. Live with the sense of urgency (Ps. 90:12)
Delay is decay; procrastination equals degeneration; things spoil when time is wasted
5. Live with the attitude of gratitude – first thing in the morning and last thing in the night (Ps. 92:1-2)
Gratitude is key to great altitudes
Appreciation is fertilizer for multiplication
6. Schedule each day ahead of its arrival (Hab. 2:1-2)
What you want to do tomorrow, should be clear today
If it is clear to you, it can be there for you
7. Wait periodically on the Lord for continual strength renewal (Isa. 40:31)
8. Live with the consciousness of eternity – live in the fear of the Lord (Ps. 1:1-3; Prov. 19:23)
PRAYERS:
Father, I receive the grace to make the most of the year 2024, the grace to start the day right, to start it with You, the grace to live beyond myself, to live for Christ, the grace to give the best to all that I do, the grace to live with a sense of urgency, the grace to live with an attitude of gratitude, the grace to schedule the day, the grace to live with the consciousness of eternity, to live in the fear of the Lord, I receive that grace Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, in the Name of Jesus, I receive mercy to live in compliance with Your will and to make the most of 2024. I receive that grace now, Lord in Jesus Name
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
– Any miracle that is on your heart, I decree it shall be established!
– As you celebrate tonight in this feast, you shall celebrate in your life!
– Evil and calamity are not your portion!
– Every word that God has given you for 2024 shall come to pass!
– For some of us, before the month of January comes to an end on Wednesday, all your expectations for 2024 would have come to pass!
