MESSAGE TOPIC: FACTORS THAT ENHANCE PRODUCTIVE GIVING
SERVICE OBJECTIVES: Understanding what it takes to experience productivity and results in giving
THINGS TO NOTE:
1. The Bible makes it clear that giving is designed to produce harvest (Gen. 8:22; Zech. 8:12; Ps. 126:5; Luke 6:38; 2 Cor. 9:6-7; Phil. 4:15,19; Eccl. 11:6)
2. The destiny of the saint is tied not to what is received but to what is released (Acts 20:35)
What you receive can make you happy but what you release is what makes you blessed
If the devil cannot hinder your releases then he cannot hinder your receivings, under any circumstance.
The covenant is a covering
FACTORS THAT ENHANCE THE VIABILITY OF THE SEED AND THE CERTAINTY OF THE HARVEST:
1. Revelational Light(Isa. 32:20a; Eph. 5:26; Luke 5:4-6)
Don’t just give, give with revelation and sow with light.
Let the Word of God facilitate your giving
God is not trying to cheat you; He can survive without you but you can’t survive without Him.
1a. It is a blessing to sow beside the waters (Isa. 32:20a; Eph. 5:26)
1b. Action based on the revelation of the Word guarantees Divine manifestation (John 2:5; Luke 5:4-6)
2. Faith in God (Heb. 11:6; Ps. 27:13; 34:8)
Your giving does not go away, it makes a way
2a. Your rewards and returns from God are tied to faith in God (Heb. 11:6)
2b. To see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, faith in God is mandatory (Ps. 27:13; 34:8)
Anytime you are releasing anything towards God, you must have faith.
3. The climate of joy and praise (Joel 1:11-12; Ps. 67:3-7; 126:5; Isa. 9:3)
3a. Joy and praise irrigate the harvest field and make seed productive (Joel 1:11-12)
3b. Joy and praise put the earth under pressure to release its content (Ps. 67:3-7)
3c. Joy and praise are sickles of the harvest (Ps. 126:5; Isa. 9:3)
4. The right utterance (Prov. 18:21; Num. 14:28; Prov. 13:2)
The way you are talking is either giving life to your seed or killing it
4a. The power of life or death, blessings or curses lies with the tongue (Prov. 18:21)
Don’t join the people to say the fact, join the Word to say the Truth (Job 22:29; Ps. 91:6; Joel 3:10b).
In the world of the spirit, words matter; if your words don’t count then you don’t count.
4b. The tongue is the ultimate determinant of the return of the harvest (Prov. 18:20; 13:2)
5. Willingness in giving (2 Cor. 9:7; Rom. 12:1-2)
5a. When giving is done purposefully, willingly and cheerfully it attracts the attention of God (2 Cor. 9:7)
Let your heart give with excitement and purposefulness so that the reward is not lost
5b. Not every sacrifice is acceptable unto God (Rom. 12:1-2)

CONCLUSION:
Don’t just sow seed, ensure their viability through positive and profitable Kingdom action
PRAYERS
Father, I come before You tonight. I ask that You open my eyes to understand the purpose of giving. Deposit in my heart the Spirit of faith, never to doubt You. Father, robe me and baptize
me with the garment of joy and Spirit of faith. Deliver me from the wrong utterance. I receive the impartation of the willingness to sacrifice and give, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
COMMUNION FOCUS :
– Everything that is not of God in your life be flushed out
– Every spell and yoke be broken
– Poverty be flushed out
– As you do what you are supposed to do, God bless your hands and the work of your hands
– It is well with you!
