TOPIC: CONNECTING SPIRITUAL VIBRANCY AND PHYSICAL VITALITY BY THE WORD
SCRIPTURE: My son attend to my word incline my ear unto my sayings, let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart; for they are life to those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Proverbs 4:20-22.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The vitality of a person’s physical life is guaranteed by a steady diet of the Word of God.
The Scripture makes it clear that the Word of God is life to the child of God (Matthew 4:4). The Word of God carries life. The Word of God is live wire for the child of God.
Now, what is the implication of the Word of God being life to a child of God?
1. Spiritual life vibrancy (Luke 4:4).
Spiritual life vibrancy is guaranteed by a steady diet of the Word of God. The vibrancy, buoyancy and vitality of one’s spiritual life is guaranteed by a steady diet of the Word of God. One way to know that someone’s spiritual life is going down is when he is disconnected from the Word of God. Spirituality is at risk where the Word of God is in short supply. 2. Physical life vitality.
The vitality of a person’s physical life is guaranteed by a steady diet of the Word of God. The physical energy of a person, the health and the liveliness of a person’s body are all guaranteed by a steady diet of the Word of God.
The Word of God is life to those that find it and health to their flesh (Proverbs 4:20-22).
My counsel is, make the Word of God a priority in your life. Read, study, meditate and practice the Word of God always.
