1. Lack of compassion
2. When you don’t like the other person
3. Lack of care
4. Lack of regard (value)
5. Lack of respect
6. Lack of friendliness
Friendliness is a vital characteristic of true love
7. Lack of good wishes

KINDS OF LOVE:
1. Agape love (Love from God)
2. Filial love (between siblings and towards parents)
3. Eros love (between married couples)

THE IMITATIONS OF LOVE:
1. Sexual passion
2. ‘Love’ due to sponsorship (love is not sponsorship)
3. Love is not infatuation
4. Love is not a crush

FACTORS THAT FRUSTRATE TRUE LOVE:
1. Wrong timing (premature engagement or involvement in the issues of love) (Eccl. 3:1; 2Sam. 13:1-19)
When you try to eat your cake before it is done, it can give you a running tummy
When people want to step into the realm of eros love before time (i.e. before they are pronounced man and wife), it ends up as gravel in the mouth

When sexual immorality is engaged in, there are certain consequences such as:
i. Emotional pressure
ii. The feeling of rejection
iii. The feeling of guilt (Prov. 28:1)
iv. An attack on spirituality
