🍒🌽DUNAMIS SEEDS OF DESTINY A DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.
DATE: SATURDAY 24TH JANUARY 2026.
TOPIC: THE UMPIRE CALLED INNER PEACE.

SCRIPTURE: And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds… Colossians 3:15 AMP
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Never struggle to feel good about what you have lost your peace about.
Many years ago, I came home for holidays as a medical student, and I met someone prophesying. The moment I heard and saw the person, every peace in me disappeared. I became uncomfortable. I was troubled within me even though everyone was praising the person as someone used by the mighty power of God. I said, “No! this is not God.” In a short while, it was confirmed.
At another time, I was meant to travel for an event that was family related, but I had zero peace. Everything was set; flight movement was ready. But when I received the signal, I said, “I would not go on this trip.” The outcome of it was that I thanked God that I did not embark on the trip because of what played out. If I had been there, it would have been disastrous.
It is important to note that one of the ways God speaks to us is through the inner peace, peace of mind. God uses the presence or absence of inward peace to confirm whether a certain decision is right or wrong (Psalm 85:8). The Voice of the Lord carries peace; His direction carries peace. And our anchor scripture makes it abundantly clear that the peace of God shall serve as an umpire, that is, a referee over our heart. The presence of peace signals green light; it means, “Move!” The absence of peace signals red light, meaning, “Don’t move, there is danger ahead! Then, there is a realm where you are not so sure; it indicates yellow light, and it means, “Wait until you can tell what you are sensing.”
Beloved, never struggle to feel good about what you have lost your peace about. If you are considering any issue and you have lost your peace, don’t force yourself. Saul lost the kingdom and missed out from the will of God by forcing himself (1Samuel 13:12). Saul said, …I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering. Anything you are forcing yourself to do, check it, something maybe wrong. Don’t force yourself to go on a journey that you have no peace about.
REMEMBER THIS: Never struggle to feel good about what you have lost your peace about.

SEEDS OF DESTINY DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.
DATE: SUNDAY, 25TH. JANUARY, 2026.
TOPIC: THE GAME OF LIFE.
SCRIPTURE: And athletes cannot win the prize unless they follow the rules. 2 Timothy 2:5, NLT
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: How you live determines whether you will win or lose in life.
I had a very painful experience on Christmas day in 1994 while on call duty at a Teaching Hospital as a young medical doctor. A young man was brought in dead.
Now, what happened? He had an accident while riding a motorcycle in the night on that Christmas day. The motorcycle had no light, it had no brakes and he was drunk. Such a reckless and disastrous game. Maybe he played such a game before and won but not on that day.
He rode straight and had head-on collision with an oncoming Mercedes car and died on the spot. He was brought to the Accident and Emergency ward smelling of alcohol. That is, he drank liquid hell on earth to assist him to end in hellfire in eternity. He was wheeled straight to the mortuary. He played the game of life recklessly and lost; his game ended in a loss, an irredeemable earthly and eternal loss. He lost in time and then lost eternally in eternity.
Beloved, life is a game; it is a game like a football game. How you live determines whether you will win or lose in life. Living determines winning or losing. The way we live determines our victory or defeat. Whatever we do in life is a transaction. Esau lived to lose. Jacob lived to win. For the satisfaction of his appetite, Esau sold his birth right, got a day’s meal and lost the right of a lifetime and a generational covenant heritage.
Many times, people try to gain something and lose something else. Imagine a person getting infected with HIV due to reckless immoral living. The question is, did the pleasure the person got justify the HIV?
Beloved, life is a game. As we live, we are playing a game. My counsel is, play to win, not to lose. Live to win, not to lose. Do the things that will make you a winner, not what will make you a loser in time and a loser in eternity.
REMEMBER THIS: How you live determines whether you will win or lose in life.
ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Answer yourself: How am I living? Am I going to win or lose at the end of time?
2. Make demands on God’s help for daily upright living.
3. Take out some time from your schedule and go on a periodic fast to deepen your intimacy with God.
PRAYER: Lord, I take up the Cross, let it crucify the flesh. Let it be no longer I that live; let Christ Jesus live in and through me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
