TOPIC – Affliction: A Trap Of The Enemy (Seeds Of Destiny 27 June 2023)
SCRIPTURE: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. – Matthew 8:17
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The devil uses physical affliction to fight the lives and destinies of God’s children.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
It has been established that affliction is one weapon of the devil against the people of God. The devil uses physical affliction to fight the lives and destinies of God’s children.
This is one reason why we often hear of disturbing health issues like kidney failure, high blood pressure, the heart or the cardiovascular system not working well, etc.
When the enemy strikes, the time people should have been using to pursue meaningful things is used to service afflictions.

For example, in the days of the COVID-19 pandemic and Ebola Virus, imagine the situation of the people who were quarantined because they were afflicted or affected. If the affliction remained on them for three months, they would remain in the isolation center for those three months.
Imagine what would happen to the business of those who were thus quarantined? Their business, in most cases, would be grounded.
Whatever the people were doing before they were afflicted would be grounded for as long as they remain in the isolation center.
You see a strong man suddenly become weak because there is an affliction the devil puts on his life to weaken him and distract his destiny. The devil usually afflicts a person to distract or prevent him from becoming what he is meant to be in life. The devil afflicts a person to stop him from moving as fast as he should move in the journey of life.
But I want to let you know that that devil is a bastard, and he is a loser in your life.
I decree by the apostolic and prophetic mantle of fire on my life that every affliction of the devil on your life is roasted by fire, in Jesus’ Name.
My counsel is: always remember that Jesus took away your affliction on the Cross of Calvary (Matthew 8:17).
Remember this: The devil uses physical affliction to fight the lives and destinies of God’s children.
ASSIGNMENT:
Fight against any sickness, disease or affliction that the devil may impose on your life.
Believe that Jesus Christ took away your affliction on the Cross, and that by His Stripes, you are healed (Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53:4-5).
PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for the Work on the Cross of Calvary that took away my affliction and sickness. I make demand on the Blood of Jesus for the cleansing of my body from all forms of sin and sickness, O LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
