TOPIC: Recognizing God As The Ultimate Owner Of All Things (Seeds Of Destiny 26 June 2023)
SCRIPTURE: The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Psalm 24:1-2.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: When a man recognizes God as the Source of all things, he effortlessly releases to God out of what God gives him.
Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:
Our anchor Scripture makes it clear that God is the ultimate owner of all things. The earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof. The world, the people in the world and everything in the world belong to God.
Please, we must come to terms with the understanding that everything on earth belongs Jehovah, the God of heaven and earth.
The revelation of God as the ultimate owner of all things is key to releasing what is in your hands for God’s purpose. Many people withhold what God has given them. They don’t give back to God because they fail to realise that God owns all things.
You see, the owner of a hen is also the owner of the eggs laid by the hen. The owner of my life and energy that produced the money I have is the authentic owner of that money. The Giver of the wisdom that produced any wealth is the owner of that wealth also. Many people do not understand this.
The truth is, anything that brought you money originated from one Source, and that Source is God. Anything that gives you a privilege above other people is not your making. So, the money you make as a result of your sweat, wisdom, favour and opportunities came from one Source – God.
When you earn money through these means and you give just ten per cent to God, you are saying, “This is for You O’ Lord. I recognize that it was not by my struggle, sweat, wisdom, favour and human connections that I made this money. I cannot keep myself alive to earn any money. I recognize You as the Owner of my life and all that I have. This is for you Lord”.
Then God would say, “You are sensible! I will multiply your favour, wisdom, idea, opportunities, light and everything that you need for more money.”
So, the payment of the tithe is the acknowledgement of God as the Source of all resources.
Remember this: When a man recognizes God as the Source of all things, he releases to God out of what God gives him.
ASSIGNMENT:
- Refuse to attribute your achievements, resources and success to your personal effort instead of God.
- Release what is in your hand to God as a way of worship to Him.
PRAYER: Lord, I repent today from the attitude of not recognising you as the Sources of all that I have. I receive the grace to release to You what You have given me, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
