TOPIC: YOUR AFFECTION – A PATHWAY TO YOUR DESTINY

SCRIPTURE: Also he built towers in the desert, and digged many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved husbandry. – 2 Chronicles 26:10

It’s very important to know that our God is a God of plans and purposes. He does not act randomly, he acts deliberately, God is not confused about man’s purpose and journey on the earth, God did not create anyone for experimentation or experimental purposes, He created you for accomplishment. You have a destiny in God, a purpose for your existence. Now one of the pointers for knowing that destiny is affection, there is a connection between your affection and your destination, there is a connection between what you love and how you live. In 2 Chronicles 26:10, we understand that because king Uzziah loved husbandry, his cattle multiplied. It is what you love that attacks your lack. Indeed what you love can be your favor, Uzziah did not waste his energy in what he did not love, He spent his energy in the direction of what he loved, and as he did that, he had multiplication with what he had, today many are struggling on earth some are spending there time and energy on what they have no affection for at all. Frustration is the outcome when you do what you do not have a passion for.

Joseph was another person who did what He had affection for, Joseph loves to put smiles on the faces of people, he loves to interpret dreams, that was his link to His purpose Genesis 40:1-8 give us a very vivid account of Joseph in the prison he interpreted the dreams of the butler and baker he helped them out of there frustration, that was his link to his own destiny. Indeed what you love doing is your link to what you will live doing

So beloved do not do what you don’t have affection for and do not ignore your passion. Pay attention to them. Remember what you Love doing is your link to what you love doing.

1. Refuse to do anything in life without passion or affection

2 identify your affection and follow it

God’s servant said number one passion is the passion for God, you want Jesus to be the Lord of your Life, simply Pray Lord Jesus I know am a sinner I need your Help, Jesus please come into my life, wash my sins make me a new person.
