Beloved! a dawn of a new season is upon us as we Crossover without carryover into the year 2024 by 8pm on the 31/12/2023.
We would be having a special Commanding the year midnight prayers at our usual time 11:30pm (WAT) during the course of our Cross Over Service. Be encouraged to be a part of this great transition also and do well to invite your loved ones and friends.

The Dunamis International Gospel Centre, like many other churches, holds a Cross Over Service to mark the transition from the current year to the new year. This service is typically held on the night of December 31st and extends into the early hours of January 1st.
During the Cross Over Service at Dunamis Church, congregants come together for a time of reflection, worship, prayer, and celebration. The service often includes:

- Prayer for the New Year: Prayers are offered for the coming year, seeking God’s favor, blessings, guidance, and protection for the church, its members, the nation, and the world.
- Sermon or Message: The service may include a message or sermon focusing on spiritual preparation, encouragement, and hope for the new year.
- Crossing Over into the New Year: As the clock strikes midnight, congregants enter the new year together, often with prayers, declarations of faith, and the symbolic crossing over from the old year to the new.
- Holy Communion: Some churches, including Dunamis, partake in the Holy Communion, symbolizing the body and blood of Christ and signifying a renewed commitment to God in the new year.
- Fellowship and Celebration: The service concludes with fellowship, sharing of refreshments, and sometimes festive celebrations as individuals welcome the new year together.
