TEXT: JEREMIAH 6:16-17 “Thus says the Lord, stand in the ways and see and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it;
Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, “we will not walk in it”.
“Also, I set watchmen over you, saying,
‘Listen to the sound of trumpet!’ But they said, ‘we will not listen!”.
OBJECTIVES; The objective of this message is to understand the things that hinder people from receiving or hearing from God.
It is important to know, as we have established divine direction is a life saver, a destiny saver. Human lives and destiny are literally anchored in direction.
Divine direction is a non negotiable capital asset of Human’s life and destiny.
What are the HINDRANCES to devine directions?
No1#- The lack of value for divine direction.
Many has no value for the will and purpose of God over their lives, so they live life to chances or random motions. They do business carelessly, get married or relocate carelessly because there was an opening or oppurtunity. They place no value for what God’s plan for their lives and this could lead to frustration in relationships, marital connections, business investment e.t.c.
What you give yourself is not as valuable or profitable as what God gives you. Also, what you achieve for yourself can never be as wonderful as the one God achieves for or with you. What you do for yourself is a subject to earthly forces but what God does for you is superior to earthly forces.

Many are not receiving directions from God today because they don’t discern the value. The example of being led by God or one’s self can be seen between Abraham and lot in (Genesis 13:10-11). Not all that glitters are gold. Not all that appears good for the moment has a future.
Summary,
“The difference between being led of God and not being led of God is like the difference between light and darkness, day and night.
No2#- Lack of spirituality
When a person is lacking in spirituality, such would be lacking in sensitivity. There’s a connection between your spirituality and your connectivity with Heaven, your spirituality and receptivity. When your prayer and studying (the word) life is down, it is difficult to pick the divine signals, Proverbs 20:27. Your spirit must be lighted if you must make discoveries in the real of the spirit of God, 1Corinthians 2:9-14.
A person must be spiritually awake/alert to pick the spiritual signals. Your spirit must be sound, vibrant and healthy if you are going to function well in the spiritual realm of sensitivity.
When spiritual excercise increases, spiritual receptivity multiplies. Sharpen your spirit with prayers and the word of God. Be in the spirit and not flesh, Ezekiel 37:1, Revelations 1:10. When you are filled with Fleshy operations, the spirit will practically be low.
“You will not miss it in Jesus name” Amen.
