THE MESSAGE;

The objective of learning the “guidelines of Hearing from God”, is to understand the things that would facilitate our hearing or receiving from God.
One of the most important things that will happen to anybody is to know what God is saying and do what He says.

In my life, knowing the will of God and obeying the mind of God is the reason for this Ministry today. It is very important to know what God says or wants us to do with our lives. And we have Ten guidelines that will facilitate knowing the will of God for our lives;

No1#- Be filled with the word of GOD continually.

Why? So you can know what you’re hearing and be clear about it. This will help you to distinguish if it is God or not (Psalm 29:2). The voice of the Lord is the water, and His voice is on top of the word.
Find somewhere to qualify that statement. When it goes in contrary to the word of God know that at this point, it is the voice of the devil. Be filled with His word so as to discern whether you’re Hearing the right voice and if it is God’s or not.

No2#- Be committed to doing what is written, while seeking what He is saying.

Identify what to do with His word. Keep doing what has been written as you keep trusting what He says. Identify the commandments that are clear, (John 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abides in Me and I in him, bears much fruits; for without me you can do nothing”) So if you bear fruit while trusting God for a thing, like to hit the road while rendering the service to Him, God will do things. Exodus 23: 25, if you deepen yourself into the Service it is possible for Him to show you where your blessings are. Be committed, identify what God says you should do, that will also make Him do what you are expecting Him to do or say.

No3#- Be patient to learn His voice.

Be patient in the process of learning and knowing His voice. Samuel ran to Eli three times because he was just learning to hear Him. And also missed God’s voice twice in 1Samuel 16:1-8 because he was looking outwardly.
Don’t be angry at God’s response, instead ask HIM to show you again or speak again clearly. Be patient during the process.

No4#- Don’t expect God to speak to you exactly the same way He spoke to another.

This may get you discouraged, (Matthew chapter 2). God spoke through His (Angel) about the birth of our Lord Jesus and to the three wise men (through the stars). If you must expect that it would be the same, the frustration is inevitable. Some are good visionary than others and some hears clearly than others. But trust God to speak to you in a unique way that applies to you and that you can understand.

No5#- Don’t be prejudiced regarding what you want to hear from God.

Don’t decide what you’re expecting to hear before God responds. It is difficult to hear God when you have already decided what you want HIM to say. You can only hear God when you don’t have a choice in the matter. The best place to be is the center of God’s will, Ezekiel 14:4-5.

No6#- Don’t expect God to speak in areas where His will is already known.

Don’t expect Hm to speak where His will has been clearly stated (1John 5:14). If there’s anything He has spoken to you before, follow through with it.
